There are two funeral homes on Falaise Drive: McCall Gardens and First Memorial. Each has limited onsite parking so when there is a large funeral, vehicles park along Falaise Drive and Falaise Crescent. Vehicles are often parked in no-parking zones, creating hazards for local residents. The FCA presented the problem to Saanich Council on March 4^th, 2019 and recommended that additional on-street parking areas be created along Falaise Drive. Instead, additional no-parking signs have been installed. As the photo below indicates, visitors to the funeral homes simply ignore these signs.
