Members of the Executive:
The Executive of the Falaise Community Association presently has eight directors. Some directors are nominated to fill special roles, such as President or Secretary. The others represent the interests of the community and help in running the Association.
James Halliday, Director

James Halliday is the owner of an online marketing company with over 20 years of experience in sales and online content development. He brings a strong background in digital communication and community engagement. A homeowner in the community since 2014, James looks forward to supporting the FCA by contributing to the website and social media. He is particularly focused on addressing traffic speed concerns along Falaise Cr. near the park and playground areas.
Stuart Macpherson, President

Stuart Macpherson has lived in the community since 2013. Prior to his retirement, he was a forestry and environmental consultant. His career took him across North America and even into Iran. Stuart joined the Board in 2018 and has been president since 2021. He is also Park Steward for Falaise Park and regularly liaises with Saanich Parks. He enjoys walking his dog, Beamer, around the neighbourhood, as well as cycling and veggie gardening. A committed grandfather, he shares thirteen grandchildren with his partner, Holly.
Mac Nanton, Director

Mac Nanton and his wife Marion have lived in the Falaise Community for 12 years. He is a retired professional civil engineer specializing in highways. He has worked in various provinces, including British Columbia, with a second career in residential real estate in Victoria. Over the past 25 years, Mac and his spouse have hosted many UVic ESL students which has resulted in them experiencing wonderful and memorable associations with people of different ethnicities.
Matthew Paxman, Director

Matthew Paxman has lived in the Falaise community for 6 years with his wife, Jessica, and their 4 kids. Matt is the founder and CEO of Wizard Games, a Victoria-based studio that creates video games for various platforms. Most of Matt’s time is spent running his kids around to various rehearsals and theatrical performances and has been known to take to the stage himself. Matt also serves with Jessica on the board of directors for Triple Threat Performers, a local non-profit youth theater company.
Carl Ross, Secretary

Carl Ross is a retired physicist. He and his wife moved from Ottawa to Saanich in 2016 to escape the worst of the winter weather. He has served on the FCA board of directors since 2017. He joined the board with the hope that something could be done about the traffic noise that impacts the community. He has served as treasurer for the past several years and edits the newsletter, which is published three times a year. He also established a website for the association.
Glen Schoepp, Registrar

Glen Schoepp and his wife Dale have been residents of the Falaise community since 1989. They are now a retired pharmacist and nurse, respectively. Their son Karl is an electrician at the Royal Jubilee Hospital. Glen is an avid golfer and Dale enjoys playing pickleball.
Graham Stone, Vice-President

Graham Stone moved into the area a few years ago. He worked as an auto electrician by trade and then worked in the ship building industry as a Dock Master. He enjoys do-it-yourself projects around the house and scooting around the neighbourhood with his dog, Milo. Graham enjoys meeting his friendly neighbours.
Nikki Stone, Treasurer

Nikki Stone lives in the Falaise neighbourhood. She works in the legal field and is a current member of the Society of Notaries Public. She also administers two educational trusts. Any spare time is spent with her husband and their dogs or working in the garden, which is her favourite pastime.
