We received notice that the Habitat Acquisition Trust is working with the CRD to acquire the property as a park. A press release has been issued. The final outcome depends on a fund-raising campaign to raise $1.4M.

Bob Lucy received the following email from “Friends of Mountain Road Forest”: Letter, 20-Jul-20

The email asked if the FCA would write a letter supporting the idea that the property be developed as a CRD park. Several FCA Directors toured the property on 22-Aug-20 and decided that, if retained as a park, it would be used by residents of the Falaise community. As a result, the following letter was prepared and sent to the CRD, as well as copies to other interested parties: Letter, 1-Sep-20.
